We were lucky enough to have a wonderful meal at Smith and Wollensky last week with a true Iowa legend, John Streif.
For those of you who do not know Streif, he has been the head athletic trainer at Iowa for football and basketball for 30-plus years. He is a father figure for all of the athletes and one of the better parts of Iowa athletics in general. He was in Las Vegas to receive an award at a conference last week. We had a wonderful time catching up with him....He is truly one of the most selfless, wonderful people in the whole world and we are honored to know him!
