Little instigator

Samantha is a little sneaky lady.
She loves to push Carson's buttons.
She knows exactly how to make him mad.
The madder he gets, the harder she laughs.
It's absolutely hilarious.
Part of him loves it, part of him hates it.
But one thing is for sure...
He's stuck with this ruthless little Poochie!

Got taken over in Tucson...

Jason and I traveled to Tucson, AZ last weekend to watch our beloved Iowa Hawkeyes play the University of Arizona.
Baba and Papa watched the kids in Vegas while we got away for a couple of days.
After a couple of days of tailgating, fun dinners, and a killer game of "who can sleep the longest", Jason and I were ready to come home to our babies.
We had a fun time despite the fact that the Hawkeyes got rocked by the Wildcats.
At Frog and Firkin

My good friend from growing up, Stacey Walski, and I in front of the gym.
We still got it! :)

With Reckers, before the game got ugly.

Pregame party at Gentle Ben's - Hawkeyes had taken over nearly every U of A drinking spot.

At McKale Center - AZ Basketball

Name that tune...

Caught Carson singing this tune, out of the blue the other day.

Where he got this one, I'm not sure....but he got it!

Think Beyonce....

Donny and Marie?

Neither Jason nor I are musically inclined.

We like music a lot, but musical talent is missing completely.

Somehow, both of our kids happen to have musical skill. Here, Samantha shows us her skills playing the cymbals.

Between the two of them, I am confident that our little slice of Vegas will never lack musical entertainment!

Walking!

Our little Miss Samantha decided that she would take her first steps yesterday.
She walked from the ottoman to Jason, like it was no big deal.
What a big girl!!

Bryson Court Idol

Carson and Samantha - Which one is the next Idol??

Inside a work in progress...

Our new house looks unbelieveable considering we have only been here 10 days or so...
We are loving the living space and the room we have to breathe...
It is shaping up beautifully thanks largely to the help of my in-laws and my husband.
Jason's severe OCD and ADD helps in moving situations.
With him, everything is done way before one can reasonably expect it to be.
With two kids 2 and under, it takes a village.
We are lucky to have had help from family and friends through this process.
We LOVE our new house!!!
Come and visit us!!!!!

The Big Move

We did it.

We have a new address....a new park to live by....new wagon rides to take....Farmers Markets to attend.....
We love our new digs!

Missing Nana

We miss Nana.
She left this past Monday to get back home. She is teaching 2nd grade again and she is ready to rock. But unfortunately, we had to say goodbye. She helped us out so much when she was here and all of us loved her visit - especially her best buddies Carson and Samantha.
We had a fun summer with Nana. Luckily it won't be too long until we see each other again!

Carson and Samantha love you "much", beautiful Nana!
