Fun updates from this week: Carson is enjoying a nice visit with his Grandpa Hurricane Dennis.
Grandpa Dennis has a special song for Carson that he sings to him when he's crabby. Carson immediately quiets down! Not to say that Dennis is the next American Idol, but his singing voice has somewhat of a sedative effect on Carson...meaning we may need to take him to a recording studio before he leaves so that we can have it on CD to put on "repeat". :)
Carson loves his swing. Here he naps in his swing after a long day of playing with his Grandpa.
Carson has developed many new expressions and sounds this week.
Carson's first official smile came just yesterday while Grandpa D and I stared at him. Attempts to replicate this smile for the blog were largely unsuccessful. But here's a try!

I think Cody and I may truly be the winners of the official "Worst Friends Ever" award. Here the cute little man is SIX weeks old and we haven't even seen him yet! We are rotten, rotten people. Because we want to see him SO BAD!!! Jason told Cody that it was OK, that we can gladly join him for his First Day of School party, since it will probably be that long before we meet the little guy. We are a mess!
