This weekend was both fun and busy! Jason's Uncle Bob was in town this week doing the live production for the Miss America pageant, so we got together with their family today. Carson had a chance to meet his adorable cousins Emma, age 6, and Olivia, age 4. Bob was nice enough to get me a ticket to go to the show on Saturday night with his wife and girls, which was a blast. We went down to the Mirage today for the visit and Carson was a huge fan of the Mirage, particularly the lights that lead up to the entrance of the LOVE Cirque show.

Carson also met his brand new buddy, Nile Perry Tilton, today. He is one week old! Nile is a fellow Hawkeye, as his parents Tara and Kevin attended Iowa with us. They are good friends and Nile is incredibly cute.

Jason says he looks like Carson's babysitter. But there are moments when I look at him and he is so much his dad...mostly in expression and personality. My two boys are the absolute best.

That's so weird, I think Carson's face is TOTALLY Jason! Obviously the blonde hair/blue eye genes came from his mama ;) He is the perfect mix of you two, he couldn't be any cuter!!
